Our June 13th session is being held in the field in Salem city from 6-9 pm. We will attempt to shoot some of the fine architecture on Market St. The Episcopal church and the Presbyterian church will be available and the lights on. Also Barbara Duffy, chair of the Salem Co. Historical Society, will be opening their circa 1721 house to view and photograph. The Salem police department has been informed of our presence that evening. All are invited to stroll along with us. Artists will be challenged to create works inspired by nature and/or critical environmental issues that explore ideas for fostering a more sustainable community. This exhibition is open to artists in the region (PA, NJ, NY) and is part of an effort to spark dialogue and raise awareness of the role creativity and self-expression play in germinating ideas for our sustained future. Partial proceeds from the sale of work from the exhibition and entry fees will be donated the Nurture Nature Center. Artists will receive the remainder of sale proceeds.
