Upcoming Events:  

1.  (This weekend!!)  Salem County Senior Citizen Art Contest & Exhibition.  August 20 - 22.   
Fenwick Commons Bldg, Friends Village, Woodstown, NJ
Open to the public--All artists 60 years old and older are eligible to participate. 
First-place winners go on to the New Jersey State Senior Citizens Art Contest and Exhibition.

Friday, August 20:        Delivery of artwork, 1-4 p.m.
Saturday, August 21:   Judging, 9-Noon.  Open to the public, 12-4 p.m.
Sunday, August 22:     Open to the public, 12-4 p.m.
                                       Winners announced, 3 p.m.

2.  The Yo Emerging Artists! Project of South Jersey (YEA).   A series of events that will provide professional opportunities for emerging artists from South Jersey and the surrounding region.   $500 prize.  Submissions due by September 8.  Click here to see details of upcoming art contest.  

3.  Septemberfest Art Display Booth.  September 11.

4.  Pennsville Library Art Exhibit.  October 3-16.
All artists are welcome to participate in this exhibit--maximum number of works 4 (with the possibility of more).  We have a big exhbit area to fill!
Thursday, October 14, 7 p.m. reception hosted by the Friends of the Library.
Saturday, October 16, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. -- Watercolor workshop instructed by watercolor artist, Marie Natale.  Limited to 10 participants.  Open to the public and patrons of the library.  Register in person at the Pennsville Public Library.

SCAL Members Summer Project.
Members are invited to paint, draw, or otherwise reproduce one of the photographs
below.  The finished work will be shared with the membership at the October 25 meeting.
